CFRP Hollow piston cylinders

Usually, lightweight construction hollow piston cylinders made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastics (CFK) and high speed light alloys weigh  far less than 40% of common steel hollow piston cylinders.
This enormous advantage particularly pays off with mobile applications as well as during manual handling. When using light weight CFK cylinders, lifting devices are unneccessary both during transportation and during positioning on site. In addition, physical strain and expenditure of time are considerably reduced for tensioning staff.

Example: CFK hollow piston cylinder can be used for the fast tensioning and testing of piles and strand anchors, at minimum expenditure
