EQUOPEN mobile hardness analyzer

EQUOPEN is a compact, portable instrument for the hardness measurement of steel. Its revolutionary form turns it into the ideal measuring instrument for mobile employment outside of the test laboratory, where precise measurements in HRC are necessary.

EQUOPEN uses the rebound method. This is a dynamic hardness measuring method in which an impact body with a tungsten carbide ball is shot at the inspection surface. The indicated hardness value is then derived from the measuring data.
